Elphin Heritage Trail
We were commissioned to develop, design and create interpretative and way finding signage for this new
exciting Heritage Trail in Elphin, Co. Roscommon. Capturing the rich built heritage of this former diocesan
town, we designed and created a series of highly detailed illustrative panels capturing this unique town’s
interesting heritage. Our work included brand development, logo design, illustration, interpretative signage
design and sign fabrication.
As part of the Hidden Heartland tourist destination iniative Elphin Heritage Trail has a wonderful selection
of attractions for all of the family to discover. Following careful research through old map, reference photographs and other documents we were able to re-create artist impression
illustrations of building now long since in ruins or others which have fallen into ruin.
This heritage trail apart from being of enormous health benefit to the local population also acts a wonderful educational amenity
and heritage attraction in County Roscommon’s already packed Hidden Heartlands offering.
