Monasterevin Heritage Interpretative Sign – Illustration © Eamon Sinnott
As part of the Monastervin new Barrow Blueway Project we were commissioned to design heritage interpretative signage detailing the unique history of this charming canal side town. Through illustrations of key landmarks from the Barrow Aqueduct, the Railway Station, the classical Moore Abbey House, the Canal Lifting bridge- the sign documents the canal from its earliest construction to the height of the town’s famous Whiskey distilling trade in the late 1880’s.
From historical research, design concepts to scheme sign off we combine creativity and practicality to overcome the toughest logistical and design challenges no matter the project size, subject matter or setting. Our work includes project research, illustration, map origination, sign printing, fabrication and site installation. We offer a complete service from project brief to onsite delivery.
