Old Gasworks, Naas

Naas Gasworks dates back to 1865 when the barges from Dublin delivered coal to the site which in turn generated heating and lighting to the town. This stretch of canal is one of the most scenic and popular with townspeople of Naas and with walkers and cyclists.
