Wicklow’s Ancient Hill Fort Cluster
High in the foothills of the West Wicklow Mountains, around the town of Baltinglass, lie some of the most remarkable remains of ancient civilisation in the world. This area, extending across mountains like Baltinglass Hill, Spynans, Kilranelagh, and beyond, contains the greatest concentration of prehistoric hill forts in Europe. Our work on this project included heritage interpretation, archaeological interpretation illustration, information booklet design, exhibition display, website design, online display for Heritage Week 2020.
